Royal Academy of Dance Examinations

Examinations at all grades are optional and any pupils who do not wish to take them will move up with their group to the next class, following the examination session.

The Royal Academy of Dance has set examination dates each year and the teachers will use their professional experience to decide whether a whole group, or some pupils within a group, are ready to be entered. Pupils must also have reached the appropriate age as required by the RAD.

The next examinations are on Saturday 13th Nov for pupils in the upper grades. Further details will be provided in September.

Provisional dates for the summer examinations are 18th, 19th, 25th or 26th June. This session will be for the younger pupils.
